Our studio specializes in custom design and the creation of various sizes and sets of hand-painted backdrops. Creating a custom photography backdrops always starts with the initial consultation. Where the artist Ilona will collect all information from our client which is directly related to the final look of the backdrop. The color samples, photographs, and visual cues are very useful and helpful. All of the customers are encouraged to present their vision for the backdrop. Features such as treatment of the edges, saturation, vignetting and toning, texture, size, and thickness of the canvas are discussed during the meeting–phone, in person, or via messenger platform. Please note that the process of creating is completely done by hand and made to be as close as possible to the provided samples, although not necessarily identical. The artist will provide our client with progress photos and alterations can be arranged as per request. Pricing of the custom hand-painted backdrops depends on size, canvas type, specialty finishes, and labor intensity. Changes requested by the customer during the backdrop creation process may affect the final cost depending on type of the alteration (case by case basis).
